Born and raised in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan, he is now an electronic musician and artist based in Tokyo. Through countless dance floor experiences, various spiritual explorations, connections with people he has encountered at there, and sincere time spent with the art of music, he has come to believe that being here and now, connected to the universe, is the source of art. He now seeks to realize this in both studio work and performance. Yuichiro Kotani (Biography-EN) 1In 2019 Yuichiro released "Playground #1" on All Day I Dream, a party that has a worldwide fanatica following and a label that is the birthplace of an ongoing new Deep House trend. He has gained the support of top class DJs such as Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo and Tony McGuinness (Above & Beyond) as well as label head Lee Burridge. In late 2020, he started live performances using modular synthesizers, which caught the ears of sensitive DJs and organizers, and he began receiving offers to perform at clubs and outdoor parties throughout Japan. He continues to share with the floor a deep and psychedelic musical journey that goes beyond the confines of organic house.
