Yuichiro Oku "YOKU" is an award-winning composer based in Los Angeles, known for his distinctive voice in film, television, video games, and trailers. His classical foundation expanded through trumpet and tuba, performing with symphony orchestras. After moving to Los Angeles in 2000, he shifted to electronic music and honed his skills in audio production, eventually composing for film and video games. Yuichiro serves as the IP composer for Bandai Namco’s Unknown9 universe, scoring its video games, live-action series, and audio dramas. His game credits include Pokemon Summer Special and other Pokémon titles. In film, he has scored successful features such as the award-winning documentary Holy Frit and the thriller The Vigilante. His music has also been featured in trailers for major films such as Transformers 5, Star Trek Discovery, and Assassin's Creed 4, and he has collaborated with brands like Sony, Toyota, Red Bull, and Intel.
